U2.com has a piece up today explaining "what an archbishop is doing in a rock'n'roll show." You can also see a video of the pre-"Streets" cameo by Desmond Tutu, Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town from 1986-1996, whom U2.com refers to as "the world's most famous clergyman." This made me smile wryly (and not only because I dislike the word "clergyman.") Although I'd agree he might be in the top 5 or 10.
